SCHEDULE 1: Agreed Obligations

This Schedule sets out the Agreed Obligations to be completed by TN under this Deed. These
Agreed Obligations, as amended from time to time in accordance with clause 4.1, reflect key
planning, governance, reporting and operational obligations required to support the delivery of
the Destination Management Plan (DMP) and the overall objectives of this Deed.

For the purposes of this Deed, alignment with the DMP means actions that actively contribute
to, embed and advance the values, principles and actions of the DMP, including but not limited
to:
     • Visitors demonstrating behaviours consistent with community values and regenerative
        tourism principles;
     • The overarching destination marketing strategy and implementation aligns with
        DMP values and principles, embedding consistent messaging regarding regenerative,
        community-first approach and tourism for good;
     • Visitor demand is actively managed to reduce pressure on high-use areas in peak
        periods including how people travel and move around the destination;
     • Tourism actively contributes to environmental protection and regeneration outcomes;
     • The local tourism industry is supported to transition toward regenerative and eco-
        certified practices;
     • The visitor economy prioritises value, yield and local benefit;
     • Community confidence in, and support for tourism is maintained or improved;
     • Strategic partnerships are leveraged to deliver outcomes consistent with the DMP and
        regenerative tourism objectives;
     • Transparent governance, reporting and accountability
        mechanisms demonstrate delivery against DMP outcomes; and
     • Visitor experiences consistently reinforce Noosa’s values, encouraging low-impact and
        place-sensitive behaviours.

These Agreed Obligations are not subject to performance-based assessment under Schedules
2 and 3 but must be fulfilled annually by TN for each year of the Term in accordance with this
Deed.
