3. Details of Submission .
I (We), make the foilowing submission: I strongly object to the proposed development application at 8 McKenna
Court Noosaville for the following reasons: _
McKenna Court is a RESIDENTIAL street. There is already limited parking in the street and any development such as
that proposed would severely constrain parking for residents and visitors adding pressure to the existing parking situation.
The approval of such a development application would severely increase the traffic coming into the McKenna Court. As it
is a very quiet residential culdesac, there is no flow-through for traffic which means traffic must enter and exit the Court
the same way. As such this additional traffic would create severe congestion, safety and parking concerns.
A number of elderly people live in the street and other elderly people visit the street walking through to the respite centre
and library precinct. The increase in noise levels would be extremely concerning for those elderly as weil as the other
residents, and the increased traffic flow would also intensify the likelihood of mishaps to'individuals.
The reason the residents have chosen to live in McKenna Court is because of its quiet nature and approval of this
deveiopment application is likely to have an adverse impact on the values of the residences already existing in the Court.
I also have some concern that possibly a home business could already be operating at the address in question.
