6.     Project Objectives   The objectives of the Project are to:

                            (a)       deliver a community battery in Noosaville in accordance with the conditions of the Grant Agreement;

                            (b)     utilise this pilot Project to learn lessons and gain knowledge which can assist Council to deliver subsequent projects
                            more efficiently and where possible, with less reliance on project partners;

                            (c)       utilise the pilot to assess the community benefit provided by the battery in terms of emission reduction, and revenue
                            utilised for further community emission reduction initiatives;

                            (d)       utilise the pilot to determine the emission reduction potential of community batteries for Noosa Shire.

                            The Agreement will contain clear obligations on each of the parties but it is intended that risk will lie where it is best able to be
                            managed and neutral risks will be shared.

7.     Project Group (PG)   Each Party will have a Representative who will manage the day to day running of the Project

                            Composition of PG has been established by ZEN.

                            PG to be chaired by Council Representative

                            Scope of role and functions of PG to be agreed

8.     Key definitions      Act means the Local Government Act 2009
