Appendix 5 of Council’s 2025-26 Revenue Statement details the overall plan. However, the necessity
for provision of the service, facility or activity is likely to be ongoing, i.e., to continue indefinitely, and
thus to be the subject of further overall plans after 30 June 2035.

For the 2025-26 financial year, the annual implementation plan is to undertake beach restoration
works and maintenance activities at the Noosa Heads Main Beach, including sand recycling,
infrastructure replacement, beach cleaning, groyne maintenance, and major events beach
maintenance.

The estimated cost of the annual implementation plan for 2025-26 is $706,669.
