3. ASSESSMENT
Flooding
The site is mapped as being affected by flood hazard under the Noosa Plan 2020’s Natural Hazard
Overlay mapping. The applicant has provided a revised Flood Investigation Report prepared by
Peak Urban which confirms that all sites now have suitable flood immunity with residents able to
seek refuge in a PMF event within future dwellings. Revised flood mapping for a 1% AEP event
and PMF event are detailed in figures 5 and 6 below:
