PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 7 JUNE 2022
Guidelines. Applications were then reviewed and assessed by senior staff in the Environment
Services Team with experience assessing grants and environmental subject-matter expertise.
These recommendations were moderated by the Director Environment and Sustainable
Development (Acting).
Many applications have scored highly against criteria, but due to the limitations of the available
funding pool only partial financial support has been provided. Some priority has been placed on
frontline environment services, particularly in wildlife rescue and care, as there are limited other
sources for funding.
The list of applications and recommendations for funding is provided in Attachment 1 of this report
to a total amount of $118,176.
It is also noted that with exhaustion of funding availability for FY 22/23 there is no opportunity to
call for Environment Project Grants in the second half of the FY 22/23.
