3. Details of Submission
I CNe), make the following submission: I/We object to the proposal for a service station development as per the Application MCU1510095 at
I lot 30 SP 170751, 115 Eumundi.Noosa Road (adjacent to the GSlC and open-air school pool) because lMIe believe:
° the proximity of a service station, an open-air swimming pool, approximately 900 school children, an electricity substation and a higher volume of traffic
entering this adjacent site poses a number of unnecessary and unacceptable health and safety risks for our school community (on a daily basis, but also
in the event of an unforeseen incident or emergency)
• the traffIC impact and congestion issues along this sectton of Eumundi-Noosa Road and at the entry and exit points to both roundabouts in the immediat
vicinity (Goodchap Street and Walter Hay Drive) will be significant and unacceptable
1° there are components of the proposed service station development which are inconsistent andl or non compliant with the Noosa plan
1° there is a not a need for the proposed development, given that Council has recently approved a service station/shop at 139 Eumundi.Noosa Road
IThese concerns are a brief summary only, and flWe support a more comprehensive Submission which will be lodged by our parent Action Group prior
to the due dale 18112115.
