Risks & Opportunities
Community groups have the opportunity to leverage Council grant funding from other external grant
sources.

There are a number of equipment requests this round due to the unavailability of other external
funding programs. Council Officers would normally refer a number of these requests to external
funding sources but due to COVID-19 it is important that we support these organisations in their
recover.

Consultation
External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder
    Free information sessions and one on one meetings with potential applicants were held
      across the Shire for eligible not for profit community organisation to learn about the Council
      grants program.

Internal Consultation
This report has been developed in consultation with staff across Council including representatives
from the following areas:

    Executive Services
    Property and Facilities
    Development Assessment

Applications for Community and were assessed by Specialist Officers and moderated by the
Director of Community Services and Community Development Manager.
