Lambert & Rehbein response:

It is expected that only staff and a small percentage of visitors will ride bicycles to and
from the health centre due to the nature of visitations (i.e poor health, requiring
supervision or assistance).

The proposed plans have been updated to include storage for 10 visitor bicycles along
the norther eastern boundary of the site. In addition, 72 bicycle parking bays and end of
trip facilitates (10 toilets and 8 showers) will be provided within the basement level
parking. Additional amenity facilities are provided throughout the various tenancies for
staff use.

We believe this is an ample provision for a development that will not generate the level
of bicycle trips a traditional “Commercial Centre’ would as per the Council Code. The
proposed bicycle parking facilities are classed as Type 2 facilities as per AS/NZ 2890.3-
2015, which is deemed satisfactory for the development use.

Lambert & Rehbein response:

Attached swept paths analysis demonstrates that vehicle can turn left to exit the car
parking area and travel up the ramp to the ground level without crossing onto the other

Ground Floor Level:

Lambert & Rehbein response:
Ground Level Car Park Layout has been re-designed to include a turning bay at the end
of dead aisle located along the western border. Please refer to attached Ground Floor
Plan (DA-21.20).

10. Provide a detailed description of the waste vehicle access to collect waste including
vehicle turnarounds consistent with vehicle access requirements that allow vehicles
to enter and leave the site in a forward direction. The required areas must not
impede traffic movement along the access ramps to the carparking areas. It should
    be noted that:
§ Waste vehicles are front loading for steel bins 1.5 to 3m3 bins
§ Waste vehicles are rear loading for plastic low noise bins 1.1m3 bins
§ Waste vehicles are side loading for 240 litre wheelie bins

Cleanaway, Noosa Council's waste contractors have advised that the service vehicles
