Dear Mayor,

 

Please consider supporting the planning department’s recommendation to refuse the broiler farm application in Cooroy.

Many of us have moved here because of health issues and this is not helping.

We have personally almost lost our daughter once at age 4 from meningitis and I am not prepared to put her life in danger on our roads because of this venture.  Patching the road is not the answer, it will not last or solve the problem. Plus there are the other issues that have already been mentioned that are of great concern to us. 

 We are not radical extremists ,  just families trying to live a quiet and healthy life. This will effect our health and safety as well as our property values (which for many of us is our life savings).

We do pray that David Milligan finds a better way to make the money he wants that does not impact negatively on our lives and that of the community or the environment.
