DESIGN STATEMENT
The subtropical design of the proposed service station aligns with the
coastal urban context and waterfront identity of Noosaville. The proposed
redevelopment substantially improves the existing offering whilst
maintaining a similar built form scale. Positioned on the corner of Weyba
Road and Mary Street, the new build is a considered response to the
surrounding diversity of architectural styles, scale and character.
The architectural and landscape design proposal holds in esteem the
Noosa Design Principles and intent for the development of Noosaville.
Pitched roof lines and deep overhangs complement the existing profiles of
adjoining buildings and are suited to the subtropical environment. Feature
wall claddings and timber finishes complement the mixed urban character.

feature tree, extensive planting and the use of featured sandstone
material creates a delightful outdoor space. A functional and equally project
