ORDINARY MEETING MINUTES                                                16 FEBRUARY 2017


8   COMMUNITY FEEDBACK ON THE NEW NOOSA PLAN DISCUSSION PAPER
    That Council note the report by the Planning Scheme Project Manager to the Planning &
    Environment Committee Meeting dated 7 February 2017 and:
    A.   Note that substantial community feedback was received in response to the consultation
         of the Discussion Paper about the new Noosa Plan;
    B.   Approve the carefully considered use of the community feedback relevant to the
         Planning Scheme in response to the Discussion Paper to inform the development of
         the new Noosa Plan as summarised in Attachment 1 to the Report;
    C.   Thank submitters for their input and advise them of the messages Council is taking
         forward; and
    D.   Note that the next stage in preparing the new Planning Scheme will be steered by the
         New Noosa Plan Project Control Group which includes Crs Wellington, Jackson and
         Wilkie as members.



9   LAND FOR WILDLIFE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
    That Council note the report by the Community Partnerships Officer to the Planning and
    Environment Committee Meeting dated 7 February 2017 and delegate authority to the CEO
    to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding for the Land for Wildlife Program with Healthy
    Waterways and Catchments as per Attachment 1 to the report.
