Re application submission.

MCU13/0087- 99 Noosa Drive 3 and 29 Lanyana Way Noosa Heads.

 

Re the application above I wish to register my protest for this development.

 

Why would the council permit a flooding of a development of this kind in the junction that has so many vacant shops and put existing business’s under threat ? .

Coles are swallowing up people trying to make a living .

Our community doesn’t need any more bottle shops and taverns within the precinct .

 

To lose the zoning of sport and recreation within the proposed development is not considering that this area has been in continual use for over 40 years  .

 

A smaller bowls area could be part of integrating passive sport that is well needed within the junction area .

A large English school in Lanyana Way would welcome the chance to use these recreation facilities that is within walking distance .

 

If council are swayed by the application.

Council in allowing the rezoning from sport and recreation to commercial  should rightly reallocate land suitable to establish a smaller community bowls club.

The bowling club have continually looked and applied for a land release to keep this passive sport within the vicinity .

I object to this application.
