amenity value:
Constraint: Playground -
not integrated into the Park, doesn’t stand out visually to
encourage play.
Opportunity: Create informal play nodes in the Park by earth re-grading and the
introduction of artwork.
Constraint: Seating areas -
inadequate & visually hidden from obvious sight lines
& poor access by lack of a formal path network.

sewage pump station, visually obtrusive &
located in a prime pedestrian access zone.

Constraint: Trees -
very densely populated with minimal open space, ultimately
reducing Park functionality.
Opportunity: Formalise an open space area whilst utilising the ample shade cover
provided by the trees.
Constraint: Outdoor dining areas -
Quamby Place currently utilises the Park
adjacent to their establishment for commercial gain with local Council
approval which impacts on the Park’s functionality.
