THANK YOU HELEN RINGROSE PS FURTHER COMMENT: I can see no reason why the hotel requires parking for 238 cars - which allows for a 195 room complex, plus parking for staff and visitors. Surely not every hotel guest will be requiring car parking when many visitors will be interstate and not have cars? Our greatest concern is traffic management - the consultant's report seems to assume that there will be NO IMPACT!!! Already we are seeing increased traffic flow in Grant street and Serenity close with completion of the last Residences- Tallow building. At the very least there should be parking in Serenity close restricted to only one side of the street. This will become problematic for current residents of they are unable to have their own visitors parking on the northern side of the street ( I would like a yellow line painted on the southern hotel side of the street to discourage staff from parking in the street,) The prevention of foot traffic from the hotel into Serenity close could also be enabled if there are no pedestrian walkways into Serenity close. I also wonder why the Banksia avenue access cannot be opened up ( currently a closed cul de sac?) This would allow for. Decrease in all traffic in Grant street which ia already a problem Thank you Helen Ringrose
