Katie Rose Cottage Hospice (KRCH) Operational Works Approval – Application for Not- for-Profit
Discount - Application No. MCU22/0202, Issued 19th March 2025)

In March 2024 Council issued and development approval for the hospice extension –in short,
extending the facility from 3 beds to 5 beds.

After some time, our team are about to begin the development and as such our consultants will
shortly seek Operational Works Approvals. Our understanding is that the Council generously offers a
50% discount to ACNC registered not for profit organisations when embarking on such works. This
being the case we ask that our fees be discounted accordingly, upon Application.

We thank Council for their generosity. As we are a predominantly self-funding not for profit
organisation (Charity No. 2898) project cost savings are important.
