Dear Mark,

RE: Bushfire Management – 215 David Low Way, Peregian Beach

JWA have been engaged by Dunleavy Holdings, on behalf of Scanlon Property Group, to confirm
that the recommendations of the approved Bushfire Management Plan for land at 215 David
Low Way, Peregian Beach (i.e. Lot 77 on SP231615) have been incorporated into the proposed
development over the ‘Balance Land’ at the subject site.

The following facts have been considered/relied upon when preparing this advice:

 A Bushfire Management Plan (DFS Group 2015) was prepared for the site in February
2015 and subsequently approved by Council in October 2015. Table 11 in SECTION 7.0
of the approved Bushfire Management Plan contained a “Summary of
       Recommendations” of the report.
 It is understood that since the preparation of the BMP (DFS Group 2015), council has
agreed that a cleared 3m trail is to be provided on the adjoining land to be dedicated
to the west of the ‘Balance Land’ (Gondwana Ecology Group 2016). It is therefore
proposed to utilse this cleared trail as the required outer bushfire Asset Protection Zone
       (APZ).
 A site assessment was completed on the 12th August 2016 by one (1) JWA Principal
Ecologist to certify that the Stage 1 development of the site (i.e. adjacent retail centre)
had been completed in accordance with the BMP (DFS Group 2015), and this
certification was subsequently provided to Council.
