1.            Introduction
ASK Consulting Engineers Pty Ltd (ASK) was commissioned by Thomco (No 2087) Pty Ltd to provide acoustic
consultancy services for the proposed multi‐unit and housing development to be constructed at 215 David
Low Way, Peregian Beach.
This acoustic report is to accompany a Development Application for consideration by Noosa Shire Council.
The application is made over land at 215 David Low Way, Peregian Beach, and described as Lot 77 on
SP231615.
The proposed development includes the following uses:
      Multi‐storey short‐stay accommodation and permanent residential unit building.
      26 two‐storey house lots.
The purpose of this report is as follows:
      Outline the relevant project noise criteria.
      Present the results of noise monitoring.
      Predict and assess the noise emissions from the development.
      Describe noise mitigation requirements, if any.
