4. Payment Preferences and Arrangements to Pay
BPay continues to be the most popular payment option by far, as shown in the graph below.

There are currently 330 properties that have made an arrangement to pay their current rates in
accordance with section 2.6.2 of the Revenue Statement, representing $189,317 of the outstanding
rates and charges. This figure may increase, however, once reminder notices are issued later this
month.

5. Electronic Rate Notice Delivery
Council continues to encourage residents to register for electronic delivery of their rate notice, either
by e-mail direct to their private email address or delivery to their online banking platform via
BpayView. At the conclusion of the levy period we had 1,141 properties registered for BpayView
and 8,886 properties registered for email delivery, which means that we have just over 31% of all
rate notices now sent electronically. Ongoing efforts are being made to continue to encourage
electronic rate notice delivery, including contacting new owners and inviting them to register for email
delivery.

6. Extended Discount Period

Payment patterns were very similar to the July levy, with the majority of properties once again taking
advantage of the 30-day 5% discount period.

By the end of the 60 day discount period the levy was approximately 84.7% paid. The chart below
shows the payments made each week in the levy period, as a percentage of the total rates levied
including arrears.
