App 6 - Bushfire Report
[5]
The land contains two main drainage gullies which drain the land from the Turnbull Road
ridgeline toward Pinbarren Creek. There are a number of instream farm dams within the
drainage gullies which provide water storage for the land.
The surrounding land is clear of woody vegetation and as such does not present a bushfire risk
to the property. A vegetated block is located to the north-west however, this is separated by
land which appears to be maintained.

Other Infrastructure
The in-stream storages/farm dams are augmented with three metal tanks located on a
western spur above the main dwelling house.
The whole perimeter of the land is fenced with standard stock fencing. In addition, the forestry
plantation is also fenced with 3 strand wire fencing and there is also a three-strand wire fence
above the proposed secondary dwelling which separates a farm dam and minor drainage
line from an old paddock which is currently undergoing natural regeneration of a mix of
Acacia species and rainforest species along with the ubiquitous lantana (Lantana camara).
