to the GSLC and open-air school pool) because ItWe believe:
--
! • the proximity of a service station, an open-air swimming pool. approximately 900 school children. an electrtcity substation and a higher volume of traffic I
; entering this adjacent site poses a number of unnecessary and unacceptable health and safety risks for our school community (on a daity basis, but also \
I in the event of an unforeseen incident or emergency)
t the traffIC impact and congestion issues along this section of Eumundj.Noosa Road and at the entry and exit points to both roundabouts in the immedlat~
',vicinity (Goodchap Street and WalteT Hay Drive) will be significant and unacceptable
i.there are components of the proposed service station development which are inconsistent and! or non compliant with the Noosa plan
;. there is a not a need for the proposed development, given that Council has recently approved a service station/shop at 139 Eumundi-Noosa Road
;These concerns are a brief summary only, and (!We support a more comprehensive Submission which wid be lodged by our parent Action Group prior
:to the due date 18112115.
