~I (W:l.:-~ake~~e
fOllowi~_gsu~bmission: Thai the ap~catlon made in regar~o the a~~mentioned Material Changd of Use which includes a provision for
extended trading hours be refused by the Noosa Council on the grounds that extended trading hours will have a negative impact on the area for the following reasons:
I 1. Negative impact on tourism I
2. Negative Impact on families enjoying Noosaville's quiet ambience and people who are not inclined to be up late and will be negatively impacted by noise into the late evening I
I and early hours. ,
I 3 Other similar venues report activity In the immediate viCinity in the closing hours. with young people gathenng in groups. ThiS would be extremely inappropriate for this location I
! and requires after hours surveillance with security services to aVOid negative impact on our property
I 4. We don't believe there is a necessity for this sort of venue in this location. given the family-orientated demographic of NoosavHle's tourist clientele
5 ThiS end of Gymple Terrace is attractIVe because of its peacefulness and lack of activity earty in the morning and after hours. We do not believe that a valid comparison can be 1
made beIWeen the previous business that existed there and the intended proposed business.
6. The notion of a licensed premises with the proposed operating hours and potential noise levels in this location is totally incongruent with the neighbouring NoosJville resorts
