Hi Noosa Council,

I’d like to object to the Noosa Springs development ~ Resort Complex.

We live in the area and our main concerns are the following ~

-At 12m high it will visually overpower existing buildings
-Two thirds of the development is to be built on land zoned "recreational and open space"
-Zoning maps indicate it is a "Core Koala Habitat", "a Koala Priority Habitat" and this will be lost together with other fauna and flora ~ especially where they are recent sightings of Koalas
-With potentially 224 occupants, plus children and additional staff, the already existing fire evacuation risk will be significantly increased with potentially disastrous ramifications.

We would appreciate careful consideration of this proposed project so our local area is preserved.
