The Licensee takes all reasonable steps to ensure staff and patrons behave in an orderly
manner when entering or leaving the premises.

The licensee complies with all noise conditions endorsed on the venue’s liquor licence.

Noise emanating from the venue is monitored by management or staff conducting regular
checks both inside and outside the premises to ensure that it is not unreasonable and does not
have a negative impact on the local community.

The operation of YMBP has little or no impact on the amenity of the local community.

The venue is located at 5 Opal Street, Cooroy which is located on the eastern side of the Cooroy
township and main railway line. Opal Street is a side road that leads off Elm Street. Elm Street
is part of the main road throughfare through the township and leads east to Noosa via
Tewantin Road and north towards the Lake MacDonald and Noosa hinterland area.

There are residential properties at the rear of the venue and on the opposite (Southern) side
of Opal Street. The areas in front of the venue and to the northern side of the venue are
occupied by businesses. Directly in front and adjoining the main restaurant premises is an
outdoor bowling green which is part of the YMBP venue, but remains an unlicensed area.

The licensee’s management practices and procedures assist in ensuring that there are no
negative impacts on any of these nearby residences or businesses.

Deliveries and rubbish removal are conducted during specific time periods in an endeavour to
minimise the potential adverse impact on the local community.

                  12. Consultation with Community and Liquor Industry Groups

As previously advised, the licensee is willing to become a member of the CALM Noosa Liquor
Accord if it is deemed appropriate.

The licensee is willing to meet with authorities such as the OLGR, Qld Police Service and
                        Council, as and when necessary.

                  13. Ensuring that the conduct of YMBP complies with all other requirements.

Footpath Dining – There are no footpath dining areas at the premises.

Outdoor Dining - The venue provides two licensed Outdoor Dining areas, one adjoining the
rear of the premises and the other adjoining the front of the premises.

The outdoor dining area at the front of the premises also adjoins the grass bowling green area,
which has pathways on the other three (3) sides. This bowling green and the adjoining three
                        (3) pathways are not licensed for the purposes of selling or consuming liquor.

As such, all staff need to be vigilant in their management of these areas and ensure that
patrons do not take liquor into these unlicensed areas.

The licensee has erected signage at the boundary of the licensed areas advising patrons that
liquor is not permitted to be taken beyond those points, into the unlicensed areas.
