Re: mcu12/0104 top forestry rd proposed broiler factory farm I would like to put forward my submission AGAINST this application. I have owned my local property for over 27 years and still live there today permanently. I have paid my rates to noosa council all these years. I now ask you as a noosa council ratepayer to stop this proposal and any future proposal for intensive animal husbandry in this area which involves livestock to be confined permanently and not allowed to free range. Make no mistake this new land use is untested and has never been approved in this area before. Neither myself or any farmer in the area has felt the need to go to intensive factory farming. This proposal would set a very dangerous precedent for noosa council and take all ratepayers down an expensive path of no return. We cannot afford to approve this project. I am most concerned about Animal cruelty residents drinking water air borne pathogens road users safety creek environment from run off Bird flu Noosa's image domestically and internationally This a lot of risk for no gain apart for one applicant. This factory farm has never had a place in our community, nor should it ever be given a foothold. Now is the time to say NO BOILER FACTORY FARM before it's too late for all of us. E.
