Subject: From David and Genevieve Milligan - West Cooroy

Dear Mayor Playford and Councillors,

We would like to thank the Councillors and planners who attended the site inspection last Friday afternoon.

Please find two attachments.

The first petition shows signatures of support from the residents of Crystal Street, Myall Street and beyond which is the proposed traffic route.

The second is a petition that we put out just last Monday the 15th, to our email contacts and local businesses that we have dealt with over the many decades that we have lived and worked in Cooroy. Please note that this is not an internet petition. The signatories are all people that we know. This petition will remain active.

We have previously requested an opportunity for our traffic engineering, dust, odour and noise experts to meet with council officers and the independent traffic engineers, odour, dust and noise experts engaged by Council.

We would like to discuss possible measures to alleviate any traffic engineering issues of concern to the Council with a view to including any mutually agreed measures into an Infrastructure Agreement.

We would also like to discuss any conditions and/or covenants to address odour impacts in relation to the four adjoining blocks owned by us.

We have requested such a meeting on numerous occasions.

As you will no doubt appreciate, an Infrastructure Agreement cannot be finalised until such time as the parties have reached a mutually suitable position regarding the infrastructure measures (i.e. road upgrades or a traffic management plan).

The purpose of an Infrastructure Agreement is to record the parties agreed position in this regard.

Your sincerely,

David and Genevieve Milligan
