As a Noosa Council ratepayer of over 27 years and a local resident in the road opposite Top Forestry Road I would like to voice my complete Opposition to the proposed project. My reasons are as follows: The area has never had any intensive animal husbandry of this kind and for good reason as it is not suitable. Farming in the area is local growers and animals are kept FREE range. This proposal even with heavy restrictions would open the flood gates to this NEW dangerous land use. The surrounding homes in the area are predominately rural residential lifestyle blocks. The topography of the land is such that the proposed factory boiler farm exhausting contaminated manure and dust particles into the air would infect the sole drinking supply of every local in the area as we rely on roof catchment water supply only. This would place noosa council residents health at risk. The heavy vehicles travelling along narrow winding dirt roads shared by school buses with blind corners puts everyone's lives at risk. Top forestry road was never designed to be shared by heavy trucks, school buses, locals and tourists and has a complete inability to be modified to do so. This puts lives at risk and severe pressure on the existing road infrastructure. Why should noosa council ratepayers PAY for this proposed FACTORY boiler farm when it only brings harm to humans and cruelty to animals?? I am sure my noosa council does not want to be held responsible for the risk this proposal would bring to its ratepayers and tourists. It goes against everything noosa council and our biosphere stands for and would put the spotlight on the Noosa region for all the wrong reasons. Thank you for your consideration of my concerned submission AGAINST the proposed application. S. Elliott 123 Jorgensens Road Ridgewood via Cooroy 4563 Sent from my iPad
