                                          Gangways and walkways serving jetties
                                          and pontoons have at least one rigid
                                          handrail fitted and meet the following—
                                             (a) for dwelling houses – a minimum
                                                 width of 750 millimetres and a
                                                 maximum width of 1.5 metres;
                                             (b) for other residential uses –
                                                 (i) the gangway for a single berth
                                                       pontoon has a minimum width
                                                       of 900 millimetres;
                                                 (ii) the gangway for a multiple berth
                                                       pontoon has a minimum width
                                                       of 1.2 metres if fitted with one
                                                       handrail and 900 millimetres if
                                                       fitted with a handrail on each
                                                       side;
                                                 (iii) the primary walkway to multiple
                                                       berth pontoons has a maximum
                                                       width of 1.5 metres; and
                                                 (iv) the maximum width of a
                                                       gangway is 1.5 metres.
