            2 Environmental values (EVs)
            2.1 Environmental Values
            Table 1 outlines the environmental values (EVs) for waters in the Mary River catchment. These are based
            on work carried out by DERM as part of the EVs/WQOs scheduling process and consultations with
            community and stakeholder groups within the Mary Basin, including environmental values established during
            the development of the draft Mary Basin Water Resource Plan. The Environmental Conditions Report
            Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Water, January 2004 that supported the development of the
            draft Mary Basin Water Resource Plan further informed the environmental values development

            The dictionary to this document provides further explanation of EVs - refer section 5.
