                                                                                 Ref: 20769 C R001 Rev 06 09.02.17
                                                                                                    February 2018

10       WATER SUPPLY
10.1     Existing Infrastructure
         A Unitywater Infrastructure Mapping search and detailed survey has identified the following
         sewerage infrastructure relevant to the subject site:

          A 750mm DI trunk beneath Eumundi Noosa Road adjacent to the northern boundary of the subject
          site;

          A 100mm AC main within the Eumundi Noosa Road verge adjacent to the northern boundary of
          the subject site;

          Two (2) hydrants located along Eumundi Noosa Road adjacent to the subject sites northern
          boundary;

         For more information on the existing sewer infrastructure, refer to the detail survey in Appendix A,
         the Unitywater Infrastructure Mapping searches in Appendix H and the DBYD information in
         Appendix I for further details.

10.2     Point of Connection
         Due to the demand for the proposed development, the site will require a property connection installed
         in order to meet the expected water supply demands.

         ADG Engineers anticipate that the proposed development will be connected to the existing AC
         100mm water main within Eumundi Noosa Road, located north of the subject site within the
         development side verge. Connection to this main will be dependent on Council’s hydraulic engineer’s
         assessment.

         To understand with greater certainty the requirements from Unitywater (UW) for this development, a
         Service Advice Notice Request has been prepared and lodged with UW with an expected issue date
         November 2017. It is expected that Unitywater will condition the existing AC main to be replaced with
         a current approved pipe material for the entire length of site frontage.

         For more information on the proposed connection, refer to the Preliminary Engineering Services
         Layout Plan in Appendix C.
