Previous Council Consideration

Finance
The proposed 2026-27 budget includes a total allocation of $931,658.18 for community grants for
the categories of Community Project Grants, Community Alliance, Three Year Maintenance
Agreements, Signature Community Events, Community Quick Response and Individual Sports
Development Grants, subject to the budget being adopted as presented. Of this, $16,754.40 is
recommended for Community Project Grants Program - Equipment as provided in Attachment 1
of this report.

As per the '2026-27 Community Grants Program – Community Project Grants and Signature
Community Events Summary' report, a balance of $102,393.22 is proposed for 2026-27, which is
recommended for Quick Response and emergent grant requirements that may arise throughout the
year.
