encroach onto public land and remain wholly within

5. Future infrastructure planning increases green open

The Plan identified a lack of holistic planning for Noosa’s
non-powered water sport clubs, and seeks to avoid future
ad-hoc expansion or creation of community club facilities and
occupation of foreshore land.
The Plan adopted a vision for the area identified as the Noosa
Yacht and Rowing Club Precinct:
The Yacht and Rowing Club Precinct continues its
primary association with existing club activities and a
consolidated facility is established incorporating the
Yacht and Rowing Club and Outrigger Club as part of
    a new multi-use facility.
Public access to the water’s edge is enhanced and
land use activities ensure access to area of open
    space is maintained.
