This SWMP outlines how stormwater runoff from the site will be managed in order to not adversely
impact the receiving environment.
The proposed lawful point of discharge for the development shall be the Weyba Road kerb and channel.
Stormwater detention is not considered to be required as the proposal is for a residential duplex on an
existing lot. Stormwater runoff from the development site will need to be collected on site and directed
to the kerb and channel at the build phase to ensure no adverse impacts to neighbouring properties as
a result of the development.
The development will need to comply with the necessary flood immunity levels in line with the
requirements of the Noosa Flood Overlay Code as outlined on the Flood Information Certificate.
Stormwater treatment should be managed through the implementation of best management practices
on site. Based on the scale of the proposed development, and typical pollutants produced, these
measures are considered adequate.
By implementing the proposed stormwater management system, and providing adequate maintenance,
the downstream environment and neighbouring properties will not experience any adverse deterioration
of water quality as a result of the proposed development.
