is noted that several of the tree species within the area have not flourished.




2.3. Surrounding Land Uses
The Noosa Business Centre is located between the Tewantin and the Noosaville business centres
and is located at the southern entrance into Noosa, with access from Walter Hay Drive and Eenie
Creek Road as well as Rene Street/ Hofmann Drive. The Noosaville Industrial Estate adjoins the
area to west and includes a broad mix of industrial and business uses, with a vehicle auto precinct
and the Domain retirement village located to the north. To the east of the centre is the Noosa
National Park with land to the south an environmental reserve dedicated to the State, with Council
as trustee, as part of stage 1 of the centre’s development in 2003.
Land adjoining lots 4 and 5 includes covenant J which is fully vegetated and established as part of
stage 1 of the centre. The adjoining Lots 6 and 3 have not yet been developed, with land opposite
in Hofmann Drive similarly remaining undeveloped at this time.
There are several development applications currently lodged over the Noosa Business Centre in
addition to existing development approvals which are set out in the table below for Council’s
