In support of this application please find enclosed:
+ DA Form 1;
+ Appendix A – Tree Survey and Retention Plan;
Higher Order Approval
This application is made pursuant to section 10 of the higher order reconfiguring a lot approval (Council
reference: RAL25/0016) which required a Development Permit for Operational Works – Vegetation Clearing
as detailed below.
The attached Tree Survey & Retention Plan prepared by Equilibrium Ecology addresses tree clearing and
retention within the approved building envelope and associated bushfire setback area.
In summary, the plan identifies native trees within the proposed building envelope and 14m bushfire setback
area, with the survey focusing on trees greater than 150mm DBH. A total of 29 trees are listed in the tree
data table, including species such as black she-oak, broad-leaved paper bark, scribbly gum, hickory wattle
and pink bloodwood. The plan identifies trees to be removed and retained to facilitate a future dwelling while
maintaining a managed bushfire setback.

The fence will comprise of split posts and 3-strand plain wire fencing no less that 300mm above ground level to allow for safe fauna movement. Weed species will also be removed from the covenant area which can be a condition of approval. Proceeding Payment of the application fee will be made upon Council issuing the relevant Tax Invoice in due course. Should you have any questions in relation to the proposal, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned on 0423 952 928 or via email [email protected] sincerely, Marcus Brennan B. Urb. Reg. Plan.
