Subject: jcr BCS 1192 MCU12/0184 Notice of Submission Deborah Therese Hookham From: [email protected] Date: 2013-09-30T01:32:32+00:00 To: Internet Mailbox Sunshine Coast Regional Council Notice of Submission under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 Submission 30-Sep-13 11:32 AM 1. Application no: MCU12/0184 2. Postal address of Land (as advertised): 136 Top Forestry Road, Ridgewood 3. Nature of proposed development: Type 2 Poultry Farm 4. Full name of submitter: deborah therese hookham 5. Postal address: 215 Top Forestry Road 6. Suburb: Ridgewood 7. State: Qld 8. Postcode: 4563 Additional submitters 9. Full name of submitter: Hugh Charles Hookham 10. I (We) make the following submission: We find the proposal for 136 Top Forestry utterly unacceptable and inappropriate. Interesting to see most submissions have been made post the due date. We live directly opposite the proposed site and have never been informed by letter nor seen signs along the road advising us of this change of use/ development application. We agree with others who are opposing this application that the risks greatly outweigh any economic benefit: the management of runoff; high rainfall; odour; dust from the chicken sheds and spreading of waste onto the trees; dust from the single lane dirt road that Top Forestry is; pollutants entering dams and waterways; competition with heavy vehicles for cars, school bus, horse riders and walkers all contribute to the inappropriateness of this project. I believe there is a current arrangement with the garbage collectors to not travel Top Forestry Road during school bus times as the road is too dangerous and not wide enough for existing traffic.(?) 11.
