We submit that the above property has no existing use rights for Short Term Accommodation and should be residential only.
There are already numerous STA properties in the vicinity, while there is a shortage of residential accommodation, making it difficult for people to live and work in the local community.
There is a significant parking shortage in Hill St, combined with fast-flowing through traffic and poor visibility coming up the hill. Allowing this property to become another STA would add to these problems as well as potentially creating noise and disturbance for nearby residents.
