Issue
The proposed dwelling house is situated in areas that are mapped Biodiversity and Bushfire hazard. The proposed application has not provided a bushfire report with the submitted clearing plan, and therefore has not demonstrated that the clearing is reasonably necessary for the control of bushfire risk to a building or structure. In order to ensure that the development meets PO12 of the Biodiversity, Waterways, and Wetlands Overlay Code, a bushfire report will need to be provided to demonstrate that the amount of clearing, within the biodiversity, waterways and wetlands overlay, to facilitate the dwelling house and access is reasonably necessary.
Information Required
Provide a bushfire management report in accordance with Planning Scheme Policy 8 -SC6.9.4 Bushfire Hazard Assessment report and management plan.
