This report is prepared for the benefit of the named Client only. No third party may rely upon any
advice or work completed by Meridian Urban in relation to the services, including this report, except
to the extent expressly agreed in writing by Meridian Urban.

It is acknowledged and agreed that the site may be subject to a degree of bushfire hazard. The
client acknowledges and agrees that Meridian Urban has not created or contributed to the creation
or existence of this hazard and the Client indemnifies Meridian Urban for claims arising out of or
resulting from a bushfire event except to the extent attributable to the negligence of Meridian
Urban.

These emergency provisions provide bushfire-specific measures relating to the emergency
management of occupants and staff of the named facility. These specific measures may not apply
in non-bushfire related emergencies and do not override emergency management instruction
provided by the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services or Noosa
Shire Council’s Local Disaster Management Team. Instruction provided by any of these organisations
must be adhered to first and foremost. It is intended the provisions included within this document
are considered and integrated into the overall emergency management plan for the facility.

The Client agrees that the Consultant shall have no liability in respect of any damage or loss incurred
as a result of bushfire. Compliance with this report shall be the responsibility of the Client and/or
land owners or operators.

This disclaimer shall apply notwithstanding that the report may be made available to local and/or
State government and other persons for an application for permission or approval to fulfil a legal
requirement.
