3.3 Sampling Design
As per the NAGD requirements, sample locations were selected by laying a square grid over the
dredge area with at least five times the number of grid squares as the required number of sampling
locations. Sample locations were chosen using a random number generator and applied to cell
numbers (site locations shown in Figure 3.1).
