GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION FOR
PROPOSED SUBDIVISION (1 LOT INTO 2, 1 NEW, ONE EXISTING)

1. INTRODUCTION

             The purpose of the review is to

                    •     Identify existing soil types and profiles,
                    •     Determine existing soil parameters for the proposed development,
                    •     Evaluate site conditions and any affect these site conditions have on the
                          proposed development, and
                    •     Comment on the Geotechnical Slope Stability of the allotment, existing
                          and post construction.

             Standards and references used in carrying out the Geotechnical Stability Review
             include but are not limited to the following:-

                    •     AS 1289 - Methods of testing Soils for Engineering Purposes
                    •     AS 1726 - Geotechnical Site Investigations

      1.1. DETAILS OF DEVELOPMENT

              Lindsay Consulting Pty Ltd have been engaged to carry out a Geotechnical
              Stability Review for the above project. This project involves the subdivision of
              a 1957 SQM lot into 2 No. lots.

      1.2. SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION

              The site is located at 33 (Lot 3 RP149081) Crank Street, Tewantin. The site is
              a single residential allotment with an existing residence located on it.
