The reasons for the department's decision are:

*® The development application is for a development permit for a material change of use for a dwelling
house.

© The subject site is located within an area with potential for unexploded ordinances, and therefore the
application required referral to SARA for assessment against the State Development Assessment
Provisions (SDAP) v2.6, State code 13: Unexploded ordnance (State code 13).

® SARA determined that the application can meet the performance outcomes of State code 13, subject
to a condition of approval to ensure the development is managed in a manner that protects human
safety and the environment.
