Dear Glen
I am writing to ask if we can reposition the building envelope at the above address.
We would like to build on this block without destroying and existing stand of paperback
trees at the rear or the block. This forest is the main feature of the block and it would seem
crazy and vandalise it. It would also seem to go against Councils' bio diversity policy. Your
overlay map shows that we are in a conservation area.
The forest also serves to provide good screening between us and several neighbours.
Some of whom have told us that they would not support our reducing the forest and would
complain to council if we did.
Further I have spoken at length to the original surveyors of this estate Murray and
associates at Nambour and they are at a loss as to why the building envelopes was
positioned so badly previously.
Included herewith for your information are:-
1. Plan showing the desired new position of the building envelope.. .drawing 5 amendmt C
2. Plan showing existing building envelope ...amendmt B
3. Aerial photo showing paperback forest
4. Councils overlay map showing that we are in a conservation area
5. Cheque for $385.00 being fee to have envelope repositioned. (As advised by Council)
