8 CONCLUSION
The proposed Proposed Townhouse Development at 5 Pearl Street, Cooroy has been assessed for
its impact on the quantity and quality of stormwater drainage.

The lawful point of discharge is the existing Environmental Management and Conservation Area,
northeast of the site.

On-site detention (OSD) is warranted for the proposed development.

Sediment generated during the construction phase shall be dealt with in accordance with an
Erosion and Sediment Control Plan to be kept on site during the construction phase.

The proposed development requires tertiary stormwater quality treatment in accordance with the
requirements of Noosa Shire Council. Rainwater reuse and bioretention end-of-line treatment will
be incorporated into the proposed development to meet the prescribed water quality objectives.

The subject site is unaffected by flooding.
