Finance
The Department has delivered a strong first three quarters of the 2018/19 year with all branches
in a positive financial position in relation to the YTD budget.
Risks & Opportunities
The introduction of the State Waste Levy remains as the Department’s most immediate
challenge. The Waste team have preparations well in hand and will commence implementation of
the communication plan this quarter.

Community Services’ Managers and Coordinators contributed to the preparation of the quarterly
departmental update report.
