M2677 - IR response
Figure 5 – Building 1 elevation (Prepared by Blackburne Jackson Architects) Item iv) - Variation of the roof form and horizontal planes The revised building design has incorporated greater variation in the roof lines. The development achieves this by providing sloping roof systems, slope in opposing directions (Refer to Figure 10), which have the effect of breaking up the building mass and enhancing visual interest when viewed from the street and adjoining properties. Additional design articulation has been applied to Building 4 which directly fronts Eumundi Noosa Rd. The elevation of Building 4 in Figure 9 clearly depicts the revised roof line and step down in the horizontal plane. In addition, as requested, some “stepping” has been introduced to the horizontal planes of Buildings 2 and 4. Figure 6 - Building 2 – As lodged (Prepared by Blackburne Jackson Architects) Figure 7 - Building 2 – Revised (Prepared by Blackburne Jackson Architects) Figures 6 & 7 show a comparison of relevant elevation plans (as lodged) with the revised plans.
