Subject: tt bcs 1192 MCU12/0184 Submission Wild From: Faith Wild Date: 2013-08-05T06:07:17+00:00 To: Internet Mailbox Sunshine Coast Regional Council Dear Council, I am writing to voice my very BIG OBJECTION to the chicken broiler farm application in Cooroy. I will be succinct in point form, the reasons why I am objecting. 1. The road to and from this farm cannot sustain this kind of traffic. There are many concealed driveways and this road has already claimed a life in the last couple of months. The road is windy and totally unsuited to truck traffic. 2. The noise pollution will be horrendous and will destroy the quality of life for the many residents in this area. 3. The pollution from the trucks will be devastating to people like me who are health conscious and have moved to this area to get away from traffic pollution. 4. The whole operation will be detrimental to the environment with noise, pollution, and other environmental concerns. 5. The entire operation is cruel to the extreme for the birds. It should not be tolerated in this society. 6. The local creeks will be adversely affected and are too precious to pollute. 6. Finally, I have been dealing with breast cancer for the last 18 months. The stress I am now suffering as a direct result of this application is affecting my healing process. My quality of life in every way will be affected even more adversely should this application be approved. However, I intend to do every thing in my power to have this horrible application stopped. I hope you will have compassion and sense in dealing with this matter. As a rate payer, I am entitled to live in my home in peace, and not be subjected to truck noise, danger in driving on my road and my health being adversely affected. I am very, very worried about this situation and sincerely hope you will not approve this application. Regards, Faith Wild
