RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Financial Accountant to the Planning & Organisation
Committee Meeting dated 22 July 2014 and adopt the additional General Cost Recovery and
Commercial Fees and Charges as detailed in Attachment 1.


REPORT
At the Special Budget Meeting held on Thursday 26 th June 2014, Council adopted the 2014-
15 General Cost Recovery and Commercial Fees and Charges schedules as presented in
Attachment J of the meeting documentation.

It has since become apparent through the systematic update of Council’s forms and
templates in preparation for the 2014-15 financial year that a number of items have been
inadvertently omitted from the adopted schedules.

To ensure that the fourteen (14) fees and bonds can be appropriately charged Council is
required to adopt the charges for inclusion in the 2014/15 General Cost Recovery and
Commercial Fees and Charges schedule.

Finance & Risk

Failure to reinstate the charges would result in the non-recovery of costs that would
otherwise be recovered via the fee or charge.
