PLANNING & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 20 MAY 2014

It is considered that these are critical elements to infrastructure planning necessary to ensure the
network has the capacity to service existing and planned future development and the Interim
Connections Policy should make reference to Noosa’s Priority Infrastructure Plan.

Previous Council Consideration
Nil

Finance & Risk
The introduction of the Utility Model will not require the revision of the development application
fees for water and sewerage aspects, as there is no specific fee included in Council’s fees, with
the applicant instead paying a fee set by Unitywater. However, it may be appropriate to set a
concurrence agency fee for water and sewerage works in Council’s road reserves and for land
where Council is trustee.
