    Unitywater                               Interim Connections Policy

   4.    Definitions
             Term                                      Meaning
  Act                         means the South East Queensland Water (Distribution and
                              Retail Restructuring) Act 2009.
  Adopted       Infrastructure has the same meaning as in the Act.
  Alteration                  means any material change in infrastructure or increase in
                              demand for a water service or sewerage service at the
                              Connection.
                              means a Property Service Connection or Network Connection.
   Connection Areas           means the areas comprising land:
                              *  connected to Unitywater’s infrastructure (water, sewerage
                                 and recycled water); or
                              e   not connected to Unitywater’s infrastructure but paying
                                 access charges for the particular service; and
                              e  within  Water    Connection   Areas,   Recycled   Water
                                 Connection Areas or Sewerage Connection Areas.
   Connection Charge          has the same meaning as in the Act.
   Connection Criteria        means the criteria identified in Schedule 1.
   Fees     and     Charges}  means Unitywater’s Fees and Charges Schedule available at
  Schedule                    Unitywater’s website: www. unitywater.com.
   Future Connection Area     means the areas in which Unitywater intends to extend its
                              infrastructure networks including Water Future Connection
                              Areas,  Recycled   Water   Future  Connection   Areas   and
                              Sewerage Future Connection Areas.
   Network Connection         means:
                              e  the connection of Network Infrastructure to Unitywater's
                                 water infrastructure to supply a water service or wastewater
                                 service; and
                              e  the   disconnection   of  Network    Infrastructure from
                                 Unitywater's water infrastructure to stop supply of a water
                                 service or wastewater service; and
                              e  the Alteration of Network Infrastructure; and
                              e  works for the matters mentioned above to extend or
                                 upgrade Unitywater's water infrastructure.
   Network Infrastructure     has the same meaning as in the Act.
   Other Connection           means any Connection that is not a Standard Connection or a
                              Staged Connection.
